Hi, I’m Kim.

I’m a photographer and creative director based in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Photography has taken me across the world, but my work has always come back to the same things: people, places, light, and the feeling of being somewhere.

I grew up with a love for adventure, inherited from my parents and grandparents, and have spent much of my life following it. Across coastlines, up mountains, along unfamiliar roads and occasionally with no real idea of where I’m going. I work with both analogue and digital cameras, approaching photography with curiosity, playfulness and a desire to slow things down enough to notice what might otherwise pass by.

I studied Photography at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, after several years of living and travelling around Europe. Since then, my work has taken me from personal projects to international commissions, campaigns and creative direction.

My series Travelling Cars received international recognition, with features including the BBC, The Guardian, Der Spiegel, ABC News, Euromaxx and Lonely Planet. My work was also exhibited for five years at the Museum der Kulturen Basel.

Over the years, I’ve worked with brands including Leica, Netflix, Audi, Swatch and Huawei, alongside destinations and tourism organisations across Europe, North America and Japan.

I’m still mostly interested in the same thing that made me pick up a camera in the first place: going somewhere, looking closely, and seeing what happens.
